Debut Novel - Reaching the Line

This is the story about the Sutton family and their two daughters, Ronny and Abby, who reside in a middle-class suburb of Surrey, England.

This is Abby’s story, exploring how her parents manage the behavior of their older narcissistic daughter, Ronny and the effect this has on Abby the rest of the family.

The story is set in the nineteen sixties and brings the culture of that decade into view, along with Abby’s journey into maturity. The decades of the sixties and seventies were culturally and socially significant and a turning point in social norms, setting the background.

This is a story that many can relate to in some way. The narration follows Abby’s story and the influencers that gave her the courage to find her own way and grow to be an empathetic and loving woman.
